The tried and true sporthorse cross of a Grand Prix performer with a well balanced, athletic Thoroughbred has produced this handsome gelding. The It’s Fleetwood Mac line of stallions is known for producing successful show horses that are big, fancy, and correct. Dalisca D’authieux is by the famed Selle Francais stallion Jalisco B. Jalisco B was selected for the 1984 L.A. Olympics and competed at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He is the sire of at least 63 stallions including: Quidam de Revel, Papillion Rouge, Olisco and Quito de Baussey. Forty Seven of Jalisco B’s offspring have achieved an ISO Jumping Index of at least 150. Salisco is a scopey, well balanced, amiable gelding with an abundance of athletic ability. This Hello Miss Dixie 2009 foal is a well balanced, athletic colt. He is a wonderful blend of the athleticism and substance. This colt has been easy to work with and has not encountered any problems. All foals at Bethphage Farm are walked daily on a lead, have their hooves picked, and are checked over for injury or illness.
